SWAP AREA at the BRUSH DUMP

SWAP AREA at the BRUSH DUMP

The SWAP AREA at the Brush Dump is a new program for Hampton Falls as a way to recycle items that are no longer useful to the current owner.  Items may be placed in the swap area and will be labeled by the Month of arrival.  Items will be available to pick-up until the following month’s Household Waste Day, when the items from the prior month will be disposed.

The Swap Area is a place where residents, with valid Brush Dump Stickers, may leave or take reusable household items.  Items may be taken on Saturdays, 8:00 AM - Noon.   Items can only be left on the Household Waste Days, after any required fees are paid.  Items may not be left on “Brush Only” Saturdays.

Items must be in a reusable condition. Appliances and other bulky items are subject to the normal disposal fee for those items.

ITEMS NOT ACCEPTED: Mattresses, Box Springs, Clothing, Propane Tanks, Tires, Chemicals or Food Products.

VOLUNTEERS are needed to help at the Brush Dump on Saturdays 8-Noon.  During the Household Waste Days volunteers will label items brought in on Household Waste Days, and prevent items from being dropped off on “Brush Only” Days.  Please contact Town Administrator, Karen Anderson at townadministrator@hamptonfalls.com with questions, suggestions, and/or to volunteer.
