VOLUNTEERS NEEDED TO HELP WITH “SWAP AREA” AT BRUSH DUMP:
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED TO HELP WITH “SWAP AREA” AT BRUSH DUMP:
The Brush Dump is now going to open for bulky waste/white goods on the first Saturday of each month, 8 AM – Noon beginning on May 6th. By popular demand, the Town is going to establish a small area where items that may be re-useable can be put aside until either chosen by a new owner or the following month’s disposal day. Items will not be retained after 1 month. This area can be accessed during the Saturday “brush only” days from 8 AM- Noon to pick up items – but NOT drop any off. In order for this to work, we need to have Volunteers tag items with the date dropped off and verify that the resident has a valid Brush Dump sticker to either drop off or to pick up items. The goal is to have several people who would like to volunteer for this project – so that no one needs to be available every week.
