When are fees due?

The Application Fee is due on or before the application deadline date and time, as posted in the Schedule of Meeting Dates & Deadlines. Please refer to the schedule of fees in the Zoning Ordinance book. The Building Inspector will verify the fees at the time an application is submitted.

After the application has been filed, a letter outlining Additional Fees associated with the application is mailed.to the applicant, and due prior to the Planning Board meeting.

Additional Fees:

  • The Legal Ad/Public Hearing Notice cost is known after the Town receives the bill from the newspaper, and 
  • Certified Mailing fees are calculated based on the number of abutters, current postage costs, plus administrative time.

Fees are due before the public hearing can be held.
