NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING FOR AN APPLICATION FOR A LARGE GROUNDWATER WITHDRAWAL PERMIT; WEARE ROAD WELLS A & B, TOWN OF SEABROOK, WEARE RD, SEABROOK, NH

In accordance with RSA 485-C:21, V-a., the New Hampshire Department of
Environmental Services (NHDES) received a request for a Public Hearing for the
proposed large groundwater withdrawal at the TOWN OF SEABROOK’S WEARE
ROAD WELL SITE located on WEARE RD in SEABROOK, New Hampshire. This law
requires that upon receiving such a request from a municipality or supplier of water
within the potential impact area of a proposed large groundwater withdrawal, NHDES
shall conduct a Public Hearing within 30 days of the request. The municipality and
suppliers of water within the potential impact area of the proposed large groundwater
withdrawal may submit comments to NHDES relative to the proposed withdrawal within
45 days after the Public Hearing.

A Public Hearing will be held at the Hampton Falls’ Town Hall located at 1
Drinkwater Road in Hampton Falls, New Hampshire on Wednesday June 7, 2023, at
6:00 P.M.
