Executive Summary of Most Recent  Planning Board Meeting: April 23, 2024

The Planning Board reviewed an application for Currier Leather Furniture’s new sign that is the Town’s first & last Digital sign in the Town Common District. Their application was submitted months ago before the revised sign ordinance was adopted in March 2024. As a result of the revised sign ordinance Digital signs are prohibited in the Town Common District zoning district (TCD).

There was one other request on the Planning Board’s April Agenda from 5 Kensington Road Subdivision, LLC. for a one-year extension of their Conditions of Approval, which was granted.

The Planning Board’s previous meeting minutes from March 26, 2024 were reviewed & approved.

Description and Duties
The Planning Board’s duties include reviewing requests for subdivision, site plan, wetland special use crossings, and scenic road alteration permits.

The Planning Board consists of seven (7) elected members, which includes one Selectmen’s Representative member.

The Planning Board typically meets monthly, on the fourth Tuesday, at 7:00 PM at Hampton Falls Town Hall (except for the months of November and December when the Planning Board meets on the third Tuesdays, due to the holidays).
